Try mobile phones virtually before buying them

Buying a mobile phone isn’t as easy as it seems. Reading reviews, asking friends, checking prices are few of those things which haunt mobile phone buyers. Unlike cars or perfumes, we never really get to test a phone before making the purchase. Mobile Complete, Inc has launched an innovative service called TryPhone which helps buyers to see how the phone actually operates over a web interface.

You can press keys, try applications or change settings using the onscreen simulation of the phone. Currently, the service has only four phones for test drive: Apple iPhone, the LG Muziq, the BlackBerry Pearl, or the Samsung Juke. TryPhone plans to expand and add more phones to their site.

TryPhone also provides demos of some key functions, so if you’ve already bought the phone, you can use TryPhone as a tutorial to learn more about your phone’s unique functionality. You can’t try all features, but it certainly helps in making your decision. Unlike the real phone, the phone simulation is quite slow, so don’t go by the speed while choosing your phone.
